Perfume information

Description of the composition

The note pyramid of Mukhallat unfolds as a layered story, where layers reveal themselves with precision and warmth. The style of Otoori comes through in details that define the fragrance identity. Every decision feels deliberate, and the composition keeps a clear direction.

Without strict stage separation the notes arrive together with a voluminous amber mood: Ambergris, Oud, Spices and musk. In this format 4 notes act as one voice, building golden warm radiance that feels seamless.

The deeper layers are read as a continuous motion from lift to depth, which preserves the scent identity through drydown.

The accord architecture is built around these accords: Musc, Wood, Amber and Spicy without random overlap. The profile is unisex, which makes the scent profile easier to read.

At olfactory-group level the composition is built around Ambery, Wood, Spicy and Musk. The palette also extends to Gourmet. At family level the composition sits in East and Wood.

In summary Mukhallat holds a coherent structure — the start forms character, the heart develops the core line, and the final phase leaves a stable imprint. These are the fragrances best experienced on skin.

Persistence
The persistence of a fragrance is determined by how long it can be felt. It is a characteristic associated with ingredients that evaporate slowly. Persistence depends on the physical properties of the perfume ingredients—mainly their volatility and environmental factors such as temperature and humidity.

Sillage
Imagine a light cloud of fragrance that, like an aeroplane trail, remains in the air after your appearance. This is the sillage - a subtle or vivid imprint left by the most diffuse element of a perfume composition. The sillage can be almost invisible when it is felt only by you and those around you. Or it can be so expressive that its presence is noticed even long after you have left.
Sillage
Very conspicuous

Complexity and depth
The complexity of a fragrance is the number and variety of notes that create a unique composition. A complex fragrance contains many different notes that reveal themselves on the skin. The depth of a fragrance is the richness and intensity of the fragrance. Fragrances with a deep composition include heavy and powerful notes that stay on the skin longer and affect others over long distances.

At first, I thought it was just fir oil and that's it. I bought it, hoping for something similar to Mukhallat Montale, but, damn, it's not like that at all. No gourmand notes, nothing like that, just a natural scent. Later, I started to catch the smell of wet pine nut husks. Overall, quite unusual and even cool. But, honestly, it's more for relaxation than for anything else
