Fragrance information:

Pacifica launched Tahitian Gardenia in 2007 — and it was a brilliant move. By character, a feminine fragrance drawing from the floral family. Conceived and brought to life by perfumer Brook Harvey-Taylor. The fragrance concentration is perfume extract.

The sillage is moderate — present, but never overpowering. A couple of sprays will carry you through the whole day — longevity is firmly high. Brand country — the United States: a place that truly knows its way around a great scent. Tahitian Gardenia Pacifica — the choice of those who appreciate depth and character in every detail.

Description of the composition

The scent of Tahitian Gardenia unfolds as a living composition, where accents shift without rush and without gaps. The creative approach of Pacifica is clear in the pacing of the notes and the overall aesthetic. Nothing here feels random, and the structure feels complete all the way through. Perfume extract emphasizes the depth and body this composition needs.

The internal accord map rests on these accords: Floral and Wood without random overlap. The stylistic positioning is feminine, which sharpens how the fragrance is perceived. In longevity terms High points to a sustained drydown presence. In diffusion Middle shows the style of diffusion around the wearer.

When the structure is mixed the notes arrive together with a romantic floral mood: Jasmine, Orange blossom, Tea, Tiare and ylang-ylang.

The deeper layers are felt as a smooth transition from opening to trail, which gives the structure continuity.

At the note-group layer the profile is anchored in Whiteflower, Green and Floral. At family level the composition sits in Floral.

Overall Tahitian Gardenia sounds complete from start to finish — the first stage creates momentum, the heart develops the core line, and the final phase leaves a stable imprint. These are the fragrances best experienced in wear.

Persistence
The persistence of a fragrance is determined by how long it can be felt. It is a characteristic associated with ingredients that evaporate slowly. Persistence depends on the physical properties of the perfume ingredients—mainly their volatility and environmental factors such as temperature and humidity.

Sillage
Imagine a light cloud of fragrance that, like an aeroplane trail, remains in the air after your appearance. This is the sillage - a subtle or vivid imprint left by the most diffuse element of a perfume composition. The sillage can be almost invisible when it is felt only by you and those around you. Or it can be so expressive that its presence is noticed even long after you have left.

Complexity and depth

Now I have this perfume, even if it's a mini-version, but still. A floral scent that surprises. It's bright, yet gentle at the same time, as if you're on a mysterious island under the soft light of sunset. You can feel honeyed flowers and the freshness of green tea in it. Although the composition isn't too complex, it smells quite decent. The longevity is simply excellent, and the sillage is something else ))
