Description of the composition

The olfactory structure of Concept is built as a layered story, where accents shift with precision and warmth. The creative approach of Parfums Bombay 1950 comes through from the opening to the final trail. Nothing here feels random, and the composition keeps a clear direction. Eau de parfum emphasizes a balanced rhythm of unfolding.

The accord profile is built around these accords: Balsamic, Floral, Fruit and Wood without random overlap. Additional accords such as Amber and Spicy add depth to the backdrop. The gender direction is unisex, which makes the scent profile easier to read. In longevity terms High indicates a stable lasting impression.

When the pyramid is blended into one block the fragrance opens as a single chord with a soft-dry woody mood: Ambergris, Benzoin, Cinnamon, Coconut, Frankincense, Patchouli and Sandalwood.

The inner phases are felt as a gradual shift without abrupt breaks, which keeps the fragrance coherent.

At olfactory-group level the profile is anchored in Ambery, Balsamic, Spicy and Fruit. The palette also extends to Wood, Whiteflower and Floral.

In summary Concept holds a coherent structure — the opening sets direction, the heart develops the core line, and the base secures the trail. This is the type of composition best judged on skin.

Persistence
The persistence of a fragrance is determined by how long it can be felt. It is a characteristic associated with ingredients that evaporate slowly. Persistence depends on the physical properties of the perfume ingredients—mainly their volatility and environmental factors such as temperature and humidity.

Sillage
Imagine a light cloud of fragrance that, like an aeroplane trail, remains in the air after your appearance. This is the sillage - a subtle or vivid imprint left by the most diffuse element of a perfume composition. The sillage can be almost invisible when it is felt only by you and those around you. Or it can be so expressive that its presence is noticed even long after you have left.

Complexity and depth
The complexity of a fragrance is the number and variety of notes that create a unique composition. A complex fragrance contains many different notes that reveal themselves on the skin. The depth of a fragrance is the richness and intensity of the fragrance. Fragrances with a deep composition include heavy and powerful notes that stay on the skin longer and affect others over long distances.

You immediately get the frankincense, then rose with oil and ylang-ylang appears. Resins and amber notes don't stay in the background either, and cinnamon and patchouli with pepper add an interesting twist. In the base, you can feel sandalwood, and while the coconut isn't bright, you can definitely pick it up. This is truly an oriental fragrance. There's not a lot of sweetness, but it's excellent for men too. It lasts wonderfully on the skin, and the sillage is definitely there
