The olfactory structure of Melancholy Love evolves as a layered story, where accents shift with precision and warmth. The creative approach of PerfumeBox is clear in the pacing of the notes and the overall aesthetic. No excess details, only what works, and the composition keeps a clear direction. Eau de parfum sets the right density and pace of development.

At the note-group layer the profile is anchored in Ambery, Citrus, Drinks and Floral. It also reaches into Fruit, Green, Wood and Whiteflower.

When the structure is mixed the opening appears as one connected movement with a airy lemon mood: Ambergris, Bamboo, Bergamot, Black currant leaf, Lemon, Lotus and Pear.

From the very first application, I'm enveloped in the familiar scent of a blackcurrant bush and sour rhubarb, as if someone squeezed lemon juice right into my face. But these cold, cosmic notes, they seem to hint at something distant, the kinship with «Cosmorose» here is undeniable. These fruits, it seems, aren't from our planet, but from some cosmic laboratory, which is why they feel so alien and unusual. When I apply it to my hands, «Cosmorose» almost steps into the background, giving way to the powerful aroma of early summer fruits. Rhubarb adds a strawberry-like nuance, and lotus with bamboo give it all a slight aquatic touch. The fragrance is bright, unique, it's perfect for summer, even in the hottest weather it can bring freshness and invigoration

Honestly, for me, it's not about melancholy, but rather about love. Love for Greece. The pyramid smells completely different to me than described here. It's firs, spruces, and the sea, all this bright wonder gradually fades, turning into fresh greenery, softer and not so loud. I got it as a gift with an order, and it just captivated me. The sillage feels delicate, expensive, and beautiful, the wind blew at my back, and at first, I didn't understand where this wonderful scent was coming from, like from a forest nymph, and it turned out - it was me))) The longevity is good, 7 hours have passed, and it's still noticeable 🌲

The fragrance just explodes with spring mood! 🌸 The brand's design is pleasing to the eye - minimalism and classicism in a perfect combination. The composition evokes pleasant memories of childhood and youth, which is very touching. The rhubarb here surprises with its aftertaste and light sourness, it doesn't scream, but you can definitely recognize it. The pear sets the tone, and thanks to it Melancholy Love turns out sweet and distinctly feminine. Longevity is excellent, the sillage is also pleasing, especially the lemon note that slightly softens the sweetness. I wear it with great pleasure! 🍏
