History and Identity

In 2002, the legendary New York brand Perfumer's Workshop introduced a fragrance that instantly won the hearts of perfume lovers.

Samba Kiss Me is a vibrant, sensual perfume created by renowned perfumer Michel Almairac.

Belonging to the floral and fruity families, this women's fragrance has become an ode to carefree joy.

Scent Pyramid and Development

The composition opens with a bright citrus burst: juicy mandarin and sparkling bergamot greet you with freshness, complemented by green bamboo.

At the heart of the fragrance, exquisite jasmine blooms, lending the composition a sensual depth.

The base features warm amber, spicy ginger, and piquant nutmeg, creating a trail you will want to breathe in again and again.

Character and Sillage

This fragrance is a true gift for confident women who appreciate elegance and flirtatious charm.

With its very strong sillage and eau de parfum concentration, Samba Kiss Me is perfect for romantic evenings and special occasions.

The fragrance smells fresh and sweet, evoking a spring garden in full bloom.

Persistence
The persistence of a fragrance is determined by how long it can be felt. It is a characteristic associated with ingredients that evaporate slowly. Persistence depends on the physical properties of the perfume ingredients—mainly their volatility and environmental factors such as temperature and humidity.

Sillage
Imagine a light cloud of fragrance that, like an aeroplane trail, remains in the air after your appearance. This is the sillage - a subtle or vivid imprint left by the most diffuse element of a perfume composition. The sillage can be almost invisible when it is felt only by you and those around you. Or it can be so expressive that its presence is noticed even long after you have left.

Complexity and depth
The complexity of a fragrance is the number and variety of notes that create a unique composition. A complex fragrance contains many different notes that reveal themselves on the skin. The depth of a fragrance is the richness and intensity of the fragrance. Fragrances with a deep composition include heavy and powerful notes that stay on the skin longer and affect others over long distances.

This fragrance is a true fruity chypre that sparks interest. It reminds me of something from Gucci Rush and Lancôme, but there are nuances. It seems not very long-lasting, and over time it starts to smell somewhat artificial 🍏
