Description of the composition

The note pyramid of 1978 evolves as a continuous scent journey, where accents shift with precision and warmth. The creative approach of Posh Brats comes through from the opening to the final trail. No excess details, only what works, and the structure feels complete all the way through.

Without strict stage separation the opening appears as one connected movement with a noble cedar mood: Ginger, Lily, Patchouli, Sandalwood, Tonka bean, Vetiver and ylang-ylang. In this case 7 notes work as one integrated frame, creating lasting warm resonance that reads as cohesive from the start.

The inner phases are perceived as a gradual shift without abrupt breaks, which keeps the fragrance coherent.

The accord architecture is shaped by these accords: Citrus, Gourmet, Floral and Wood with each one in a clear role. The profile is unisex, which clarifies the composition character.

At olfactory-group level the composition is built around Spicy, Whiteflower and Wood.

Taken together 1978 sounds complete from start to finish — the opening sets direction, the middle layer carries the identity, and the final phase leaves a stable imprint. These are the fragrances best understood on skin.
