Description of the composition

The scent of Samarkand is shaped as a continuous scent journey, where notes flow with precision and warmth. The signature of Possets Perfume is recognizable in details that define the fragrance identity. Every decision feels deliberate, and the fragrance holds its character from opening to trail.

When the structure is mixed the fragrance opens as a single chord with a deep balsamic mood: Black Musk, Frankincense, Patchouli, Resins, Rose and Tea. In this case 6 notes work as one voice, building meditative density that reads as cohesive from the start.

The deeper layers are read as a gradual shift without abrupt breaks, which preserves the scent identity through drydown.

The accord architecture is driven by these accords: Balsamic, Floral, Musc and Wood with each one in a clear role. The profile is unisex, which clarifies the composition character.

At olfactory-group level the structure relies on Musk, Balsamic, Wood and Floral. The palette also extends to Green.

Taken together Samarkand sounds complete from start to finish — the first stage creates momentum, the central phase adds depth, and the final phase leaves a stable imprint. This is the type of composition best experienced on skin.
