Description of the composition

The note pyramid of Spy unfolds as a layered story, where layers reveal themselves without rush and without gaps. The style of Prive comes through in the pacing of the notes and the overall aesthetic. Nothing here feels random, and the fragrance holds its character from opening to trail. Eau de toilette sets the depth and body this composition needs.

At the opening of the pyramid you sense sparkling citrus top notes: Grapefruit, Lemon and Mandarin. Exactly these 3 notes form a burst of citrus freshness that gives the fragrance a clear opening statement.

When the opening settles you notice Aromatic accord and Woody Accord carrying a noble herbal direction.

The olfactory framework is shaped by these accords: Aromatic, Citrus, Musc and Wood forming a compact and readable structure. Background accords such as Amber expand the olfactory volume in the background.

At the note-group layer the composition is built around Citrus, Aromatic, Wood and Ambery. The palette also extends to Musk. At family level the scent maps to Aromatic and Citrus.

Taken together Spy sounds complete from start to finish — the first stage creates momentum, the middle layer carries the identity, while the drydown anchors the memory. These are the fragrances best experienced in wear.
