Perfume information

Description of the composition

The olfactory structure of Absolutely Fabulous is built as a continuous scent journey, where notes flow with precision and warmth. The signature of Revlon comes through in the pacing of the notes and the overall aesthetic. No excess details, only what works, and the structure feels complete all the way through. Eau de toilette emphasizes the right density and pace of development.

The accord profile is shaped by these accords: Citrus, Floral, Musc and Spicy forming a compact and readable structure. Additional accords such as Cosmetic expand the olfactory volume in the background.

Without strict stage separation the opening appears as one connected movement with a warm spicy mood: Aldehydes, Cinnamon, Floral Notes, Mandarin, Orange blossom, Rose and Spices.

The heart and base are read as a continuous motion from lift to depth, which keeps the fragrance coherent.

At olfactory-group level the structure relies on Fairy, Spicy, Floral and Citrus. The palette also extends to Whiteflower, Musk and Aromatic.

Taken together Absolutely Fabulous reads as a cohesive composition — the first stage creates momentum, the central phase adds depth, and the final phase leaves a stable imprint. These are the scent structures best understood in wear.

Persistence
The persistence of a fragrance is determined by how long it can be felt. It is a characteristic associated with ingredients that evaporate slowly. Persistence depends on the physical properties of the perfume ingredients—mainly their volatility and environmental factors such as temperature and humidity.

Sillage
Imagine a light cloud of fragrance that, like an aeroplane trail, remains in the air after your appearance. This is the sillage - a subtle or vivid imprint left by the most diffuse element of a perfume composition. The sillage can be almost invisible when it is felt only by you and those around you. Or it can be so expressive that its presence is noticed even long after you have left.

Complexity and depth
The complexity of a fragrance is the number and variety of notes that create a unique composition. A complex fragrance contains many different notes that reveal themselves on the skin. The depth of a fragrance is the richness and intensity of the fragrance. Fragrances with a deep composition include heavy and powerful notes that stay on the skin longer and affect others over long distances.

This scent, damn, is clearly not for everyone. I, for one, really like tuberose, and the aldehydes are simply gorgeous. Overall, the fragrance is genuinely high-quality and atmospheric, but many might find it strange and incomprehensible

The fragrance just screams for attention, too bright and even vulgar. The tuberose here is so intrusive, and the licorice adds a certain harshness that makes it simply unbearable for me. After it settled, it got even worse. I got this bottle from a relative, but honestly, I don't think it will stay with me for long
