Fragrance information:

The year 1997 gave us Fire & Ice Cool Revlon. A feminine fragrance from the wood, musk, and floral families. By character, it falls into the musk and floral groups. In eau de cologne — and that's all it takes to fall in love.

Apply 2-3 sprays whether on skin or fabric — it works equally well either way. It stays on the skin for a good while — longevity is firmly in the moderate range. Produced in the United States, where perfumery has long been elevated to an art form. Fire & Ice Cool Revlon unfolds gradually, effortlessly, and with great refinement — a perfect choice for day or evening.

Perfume information

Description of the composition

The scent of Fire & Ice Cool is shaped as a layered story, where layers reveal themselves smoothly and sequentially. The signature of Revlon comes through in the way notes appear and fade. Every decision feels deliberate, and the composition keeps a clear direction. Eau de Cologne keeps the right density and pace of development.

When the pyramid is blended into one block the notes arrive together with a inspiring floral mood: Floral Notes, Sandalwood and musk. In this format 3 notes work as one voice, building the effect of a living bouquet that reads as cohesive from the start.

The heart and base are felt as a gradual shift without abrupt breaks, which gives the structure continuity.

The accord architecture rests on these accords: Floral, Musc and Wood with each one in a clear role. The gender direction is feminine, which sharpens how the fragrance is perceived.

From the group perspective the profile is anchored in Floral, Musk, Wood and Whiteflower. Within olfactory families the scent maps to Floral, Musk and Wood.

Overall Fire & Ice Cool reads as a cohesive composition — the opening sets direction, the heart develops the core line, and the base secures the trail. These are the scent structures best experienced on skin.

Persistence
The persistence of a fragrance is determined by how long it can be felt. It is a characteristic associated with ingredients that evaporate slowly. Persistence depends on the physical properties of the perfume ingredients—mainly their volatility and environmental factors such as temperature and humidity.

Sillage
Imagine a light cloud of fragrance that, like an aeroplane trail, remains in the air after your appearance. This is the sillage - a subtle or vivid imprint left by the most diffuse element of a perfume composition. The sillage can be almost invisible when it is felt only by you and those around you. Or it can be so expressive that its presence is noticed even long after you have left.

Complexity and depth
The complexity of a fragrance is the number and variety of notes that create a unique composition. A complex fragrance contains many different notes that reveal themselves on the skin. The depth of a fragrance is the richness and intensity of the fragrance. Fragrances with a deep composition include heavy and powerful notes that stay on the skin longer and affect others over long distances.

This scent evokes associations with Estee Lauder's White Linen, but here the freshness is softer, though with a slight alcoholic nuance. The alcohol is noticeable, but it doesn't disrupt the overall harmony of the composition. Overall, it's a pleasant combination that delights and creates a light, festive mood!
