Description of the composition

The olfactory structure of Ascanio evolves as a layered story, where layers reveal themselves smoothly and sequentially. The signature of Rigaud is evident in the way notes appear and fade. Nothing here feels random, and the structure feels complete all the way through.

The internal accord map is driven by these accords: Amber without random overlap. The stylistic positioning is masculine, which makes the scent profile easier to read.

Without strict stage separation the opening appears as one connected movement with a resinous-sweet mood: Ambergris. Here 1 note works as one voice, creating soft resinous sensuality that keeps the opening compact and balanced.

The deeper layers are read as a continuous motion from lift to depth, which keeps the fragrance coherent.
