Perfume information

Description of the composition

The scent of Velour Saffron unfolds as a layered story, where notes flow smoothly and sequentially. The signature of Roberto Cavalli is recognizable in the way notes appear and fade. Every decision feels deliberate, and the structure feels complete all the way through. Perfume extract keeps a balanced rhythm of unfolding.

As soon as the fragrance opens you sense piquant warm first notes: Black Pepper and Saffron. These 2 notes set piquant dynamism that is impossible to miss.

In the central layer you notice Frankincense, Leather accord and Oud holding a deep balsamic direction. At the foundation the composition is fixed through Myrrh and Woody Accord, reinforcing a viscous balsamic trail.

The accord architecture is shaped by these accords: Balsamic, Wood, Leather and Spicy without random overlap. The gender direction is unisex, which sharpens how the fragrance is perceived.

At the note-group layer the profile is anchored in Spicy, Balsamic, Leather and Wood. At family level the composition sits in Balsamic, Spicy and Wood.

Taken together Velour Saffron reads as a cohesive composition — the first stage creates momentum, the heart develops the core line, and the final phase leaves a stable imprint. This is the type of composition best understood on skin.

Persistence
The persistence of a fragrance is determined by how long it can be felt. It is a characteristic associated with ingredients that evaporate slowly. Persistence depends on the physical properties of the perfume ingredients—mainly their volatility and environmental factors such as temperature and humidity.

Sillage
Imagine a light cloud of fragrance that, like an aeroplane trail, remains in the air after your appearance. This is the sillage - a subtle or vivid imprint left by the most diffuse element of a perfume composition. The sillage can be almost invisible when it is felt only by you and those around you. Or it can be so expressive that its presence is noticed even long after you have left.

Very conspicuous

Complexity and depth
The complexity of a fragrance is the number and variety of notes that create a unique composition. A complex fragrance contains many different notes that reveal themselves on the skin. The depth of a fragrance is the richness and intensity of the fragrance. Fragrances with a deep composition include heavy and powerful notes that stay on the skin longer and affect others over long distances.

Autumn has arrived, and with it comes the time for spices. Oud has quite frankly gotten on my nerves, I don't know what's wrong with me, but the leather accord here is attention-grabbing. I'll still try it, even if I'm not thrilled about it all 😒

Oud and saffron in one fragrance - that's not quite my style. Oud always seemed a bit strange to me, and with the addition of saffron, it seems like something truly luxurious will come out. Although I'm just starting to get acquainted with such perfumes, I can't say yet that they are close to me
