Description of the composition

The note pyramid of Tilting at Windmills is shaped as an expressive line of development, where layers reveal themselves smoothly and sequentially. The signature of scentgrrl comes through in details that define the fragrance identity. No excess details, only what works, and the structure feels complete all the way through.

When the structure is mixed the opening appears as one connected movement with a glittering citrus mood: Aldehydes, Bergamot, Cedrat, Iris, Jasmine, Labdanum and Lavender. Here 7 notes sound as one integrated frame, forming a burst of citrus freshness that feels seamless.

The middle and base stages are felt as a continuous motion from lift to depth, which keeps the fragrance coherent.

The olfactory framework rests on these accords: Balsamic, Aromatic, Citrus and Gourmet with each one in a clear role. Secondary accord layers such as Floral, Musc, Wood and Powdery add depth to the backdrop.
