Perfume information

Description of the composition

The composition of 121 Men is built as a layered story, where layers reveal themselves without rush and without gaps. The signature of Shirley May is evident from the opening to the final trail. No excess details, only what works, and the fragrance holds its character from opening to trail. Eau de toilette emphasizes the right density and pace of development.

The internal accord map is shaped by these accords: Aromatic, Abstract, Citrus and Musc forming a compact and readable structure. Background accords such as Wood, Leather and Spicy add depth to the backdrop. The gender direction is masculine, which clarifies the composition character.

In the top tier you sense ozonic cool opening notes: Ozone, Sandalwood and musk.

In the heart you sense Bergamot, Cedar, Coriander and Rosemary keeping a transparent lemon direction.

From the group perspective the structure relies on Mineral, Wood, Musk and Citrus. The palette also extends to Spicy, Aromatic, Leather and Gourmet. From a family perspective the composition sits in Citrus.

Taken together 121 Men sounds complete from start to finish — the opening sets direction, the heart develops the core line, while the drydown anchors the memory. These are the fragrances best experienced on skin.

Persistence
The persistence of a fragrance is determined by how long it can be felt. It is a characteristic associated with ingredients that evaporate slowly. Persistence depends on the physical properties of the perfume ingredients—mainly their volatility and environmental factors such as temperature and humidity.

Sillage
Imagine a light cloud of fragrance that, like an aeroplane trail, remains in the air after your appearance. This is the sillage - a subtle or vivid imprint left by the most diffuse element of a perfume composition. The sillage can be almost invisible when it is felt only by you and those around you. Or it can be so expressive that its presence is noticed even long after you have left.

Very conspicuous

Complexity and depth
The complexity of a fragrance is the number and variety of notes that create a unique composition. A complex fragrance contains many different notes that reveal themselves on the skin. The depth of a fragrance is the richness and intensity of the fragrance. Fragrances with a deep composition include heavy and powerful notes that stay on the skin longer and affect others over long distances.

This 212 CH seems to have simply failed. It gives the impression that they tried to copy something, but it didn't turn out well. Ozone with cold spices and woody notes is certainly felt, but it all quickly turns into ordinary soap. The feeling of disappointment is just AWFUL
