Perfume information

Description of the composition

The note pyramid of Water Drops is shaped as an expressive line of development, where notes flow with precision and warmth. The signature of Shirley May is recognizable in the way notes appear and fade. Nothing here feels random, and the fragrance holds its character from opening to trail. Eau de toilette emphasizes the depth and body this composition needs.

The olfactory framework rests on these accords: Abstract, Floral, Fruit and Wood forming a compact and readable structure. The stylistic positioning is feminine, which sharpens how the fragrance is perceived. For persistence Middle indicates a stable lasting impression.

In a unified mixed pyramid the fragrance opens as a single chord with a pulsating fruity mood: Blackcurrant, Currant, Hawthorn, Jasmine, Lily of the Valley, Melon and Ozone.

The middle and base stages are read as a smooth transition from opening to trail, which gives the structure continuity.

At the note-group layer the composition is built around Floral, Fruit, Mineral and Whiteflower. The framework further includes Wood and Aquatic.

Overall Water Drops reads as a cohesive composition — the first stage creates momentum, the central phase adds depth, and the base secures the trail. These are the fragrances best judged in wear.

Persistence
The persistence of a fragrance is determined by how long it can be felt. It is a characteristic associated with ingredients that evaporate slowly. Persistence depends on the physical properties of the perfume ingredients—mainly their volatility and environmental factors such as temperature and humidity.

Sillage
Imagine a light cloud of fragrance that, like an aeroplane trail, remains in the air after your appearance. This is the sillage - a subtle or vivid imprint left by the most diffuse element of a perfume composition. The sillage can be almost invisible when it is felt only by you and those around you. Or it can be so expressive that its presence is noticed even long after you have left.

2
Complexity and depth
The complexity of a fragrance is the number and variety of notes that create a unique composition. A complex fragrance contains many different notes that reveal themselves on the skin. The depth of a fragrance is the richness and intensity of the fragrance. Fragrances with a deep composition include heavy and powerful notes that stay on the skin longer and affect others over long distances.

Aquatic fruits. Peaches with melon and jasmine got mixed here, but the result is just some nonsense. No originality, just a faceless blend for pennies, and there's nothing appealing about it
