Perfume information

Description of the composition

The olfactory structure of Delicate Heart is built as a living composition, where notes flow with precision and warmth. The signature of Shirley May is clear in the way notes appear and fade. No excess details, only what works, and the structure feels complete all the way through. Eau de toilette supports a balanced rhythm of unfolding.

Right at the start you catch sparkling citrus opening notes: Grapefruit, Green Apple and Magnolia. These 3 notes shape a burst of citrus freshness that is impossible to miss.

In the central layer you detect Lily of the Valley, Rose, Tuberose and Violet keeping a creamy tuberose direction.

The olfactory framework is shaped by these accords: Citrus, Floral, Fruit and Wood with each one in a clear role. Additional accords such as Amber enrich the profile without taking over.

At olfactory-group level the structure relies on Citrus, Fruit, Floral and Whiteflower. The framework further includes Ambery and Wood. At family level the composition sits in Floral and Fruit.

In summary Delicate Heart reads as a cohesive composition — the first stage creates momentum, the heart develops the core line, and the base secures the trail. These are the scent structures best judged on skin.

Persistence
The persistence of a fragrance is determined by how long it can be felt. It is a characteristic associated with ingredients that evaporate slowly. Persistence depends on the physical properties of the perfume ingredients—mainly their volatility and environmental factors such as temperature and humidity.

Sillage
Imagine a light cloud of fragrance that, like an aeroplane trail, remains in the air after your appearance. This is the sillage - a subtle or vivid imprint left by the most diffuse element of a perfume composition. The sillage can be almost invisible when it is felt only by you and those around you. Or it can be so expressive that its presence is noticed even long after you have left.

Complexity and depth
The complexity of a fragrance is the number and variety of notes that create a unique composition. A complex fragrance contains many different notes that reveal themselves on the skin. The depth of a fragrance is the richness and intensity of the fragrance. Fragrances with a deep composition include heavy and powerful notes that stay on the skin longer and affect others over long distances.

The smell reminds me of an air freshener, and the fruits sound too artificial. The apples here are the same as in be delicious, it feels like it's just a fake!!
