Description of the composition

The note pyramid of Ambre evolves as a layered story, where notes flow with precision and warmth. The creative approach of Signature Sillage d’Orient is recognizable in the pacing of the notes and the overall aesthetic. Nothing here feels random, and the composition keeps a clear direction. Eau de parfum sets the depth and body this composition needs.

At the note-group layer the composition is built around Ambery, Balsamic, Gourmet and Musk. From a family perspective the scent maps to East.

When the structure is mixed the opening appears as one connected movement with a resinous-sweet mood: Ambergris, Balsamic notes, Vanilla and musk. In this format 4 notes sound as one integrated frame, forming soft resinous sensuality that reads as cohesive from the start.

The deeper layers are perceived as a smooth transition from opening to trail, which preserves the scent identity through drydown.

The profile is unisex, which sharpens how the fragrance is perceived.

This scent is warm and sweet, sure, but the amber and balsamic notes are somehow too intrusive. The vanilla doesn't let up either. Oriental, yes, but sometimes it feels like someone sprayed liniment. I don't know, maybe it's not bad, but it just didn't work for me
