Description of the composition

The olfactory structure of Cartagena is shaped as a living composition, where accents shift with precision and warmth. The creative approach of Jazly is recognizable in details that define the fragrance identity. No excess details, only what works, and the structure feels complete all the way through. Eau de parfum sets the depth and body this composition needs.

At the opening of the pyramid you meet cardamom-peppery top notes: Cardamom, Lily of the Valley, Oud and musk.

In the heart you detect Ambergris, Black Pepper, Clary Sage, Spices and musk holding a cinnamon-nutmeg direction.

The internal accord map is built around these accords: Aromatic, Floral, Musc and Wood forming a compact and readable structure. Additional accords such as Amber and Spicy expand the olfactory volume in the background.

At the note-group layer the structure relies on Spicy, Whiteflower, Wood and Musk. The palette also extends to Ambery, Aromatic, Animals and Earthy / Mossy.

Overall Cartagena reads as a cohesive composition — the first stage creates momentum, the middle layer carries the identity, while the drydown anchors the memory. This is the type of composition best understood through real development.
