Identity and Release History

The fragrance Ginger Rom by Siordia Parfums was released in 2018, presenting itself as a bold unisex creation in the concentration of eau de parfum.

This release reflects the brand's unique approach, founded by Ekaterina Siordia, who, as a graphic artist, self-taught perfume art, bringing artistic depth and emotion to each composition.

Her self-taught journey began with creating perfumes, making Ginger Rom part of a personal creative evolution and a testament to bold experiments in niche perfumery.

Positioning and Wearability

Positioned as a unisex fragrance, Ginger Rom is ideal for those seeking freedom from gender stereotypes, suitable for diverse scenarios—from evening outings to creative meetings.

Its medium trail creates a refined trace that does not overwhelm others but is guaranteed to attract attention with compliments.

For optimal development, it is recommended to use point application on skin in combination with 1-2 sprays on clothing, allowing one to enjoy the full palette of notes without the risk of excessive intensity.

Description of the composition

Composition

The Ginger Rom composition is a complex symphonic ensemble of more than 20 notes, where ginger and rum play a central role, creating a spicy-alcoholic accent that immediately captures attention.

At the beginning, citrus notes of grapefruit and orange add freshness and lightness, quickly intertwining with spicy chords of cardamom and castoreum.

As it unfolds, deep woody notes of cedar, vetiver, and tobacco form a warm base, while leather accents of leather chord and suede intertwine with earthy tones of oakmoss and nagarmota.

The composition is completed by sensual notes of amber, musk, as well as floral and sweet accents such as jasmine, rose, and honey, creating a multifaceted and captivating character that slowly unfolds on the skin, leaving a long-lasting impression.

Sillage
Imagine a light cloud of fragrance that, like an aeroplane trail, remains in the air after your appearance. This is the sillage - a subtle or vivid imprint left by the most diffuse element of a perfume composition. The sillage can be almost invisible when it is felt only by you and those around you. Or it can be so expressive that its presence is noticed even long after you have left.

The scent just screams at the start, the sharpness and bitterness of citrus hit you in the nose. Rum, unfortunately, is almost imperceptible. But over time it calms down, and wonderful notes of juniper and leather come to the forefront

This is some kind of nonsense between a festive fragrance and something meant to relax. At first, it's loud, like someone screaming in your ears, ginger with citrus, but then all that fades, and juniper, oakmoss, and leather take over. It feels like sitting by a bonfire, with the wind carrying the smell of the forest. But, damn, this isn't what I expected

I can't recall the first fragrance I encountered, but this "rum," which isn't actually rum, is what I remember most. It's bitter, thick, and sweet, with notes of buckwheat honey. The name hints at rum and ginger, but I distinctly caught honeyed nuances in it. The fragrance is truly unusual and complex, more masculine, but if a woman loves such bright and ambiguous scents, then why not? )

It all reminds me of a generous portion of citrus, spicy herbs, and a hint of tobacco blossoms added to a fragrance, then all wrapped in a leather cloak. Sounds really appealing! Very masculine. I like it 😌
