Description of the composition

The note pyramid of Queen City Rain is shaped as a living composition, where accents shift with precision and warmth. The creative approach of Soivohle comes through in the pacing of the notes and the overall aesthetic. Every decision feels deliberate, and the composition keeps a clear direction.

In a unified mixed pyramid the fragrance opens as a single chord with a mineral-marine mood: Dust, Grass, Lilac, Lily of the Valley, Moss, Rainwater and Rose. In this format 7 notes sound as one integrated frame, creating a sense of sea breeze that keeps the opening compact and balanced.

The inner phases are perceived as a gradual shift without abrupt breaks, which preserves the scent identity through drydown.

The internal accord map is built around these accords: Aquatic, Floral, Wood and Mineral forming a compact and readable structure. The profile is unisex, which sharpens how the fragrance is perceived.

At olfactory-group level the structure relies on Mineral, Green, Floral and Whiteflower. The palette also extends to Earthy / Mossy and Wood.

Taken together Queen City Rain sounds complete from start to finish — the first stage creates momentum, the central phase adds depth, while the drydown anchors the memory. This is the type of composition best judged on skin.
