Description of the composition

The composition of Mutamayez unfolds as a layered story, where notes flow smoothly and sequentially. The signature of Swiss Arabian is evident in the pacing of the notes and the overall aesthetic. Every decision feels deliberate, and the fragrance holds its character from opening to trail. Eau de parfum keeps the depth and body this composition needs.

At the note-group layer the composition is built around Citrus, Wood, Spicy and Musk. The palette also extends to Ambery and Gourmet. At family level the scent maps to East and Wood.

At the opening of the pyramid you detect sparkling citrus top notes: Orange and Pine.

In the heart you sense Cardamom, Cashmeran, Cedar and Clove carrying a warm-spicy direction.

The olfactory framework is shaped by these accords: Citrus, Musc, Wood and Amber with each one in a clear role. Additional accords such as Spicy enrich the profile without taking over. The profile is masculine, which makes the scent profile easier to read.

Taken together Mutamayez reads as a cohesive composition — the start forms character, the middle layer carries the identity, while the drydown anchors the memory. These are the fragrances best understood in wear.

Persistence
The persistence of a fragrance is determined by how long it can be felt. It is a characteristic associated with ingredients that evaporate slowly. Persistence depends on the physical properties of the perfume ingredients—mainly their volatility and environmental factors such as temperature and humidity.

Sillage
Imagine a light cloud of fragrance that, like an aeroplane trail, remains in the air after your appearance. This is the sillage - a subtle or vivid imprint left by the most diffuse element of a perfume composition. The sillage can be almost invisible when it is felt only by you and those around you. Or it can be so expressive that its presence is noticed even long after you have left.

Complexity and depth
The complexity of a fragrance is the number and variety of notes that create a unique composition. A complex fragrance contains many different notes that reveal themselves on the skin. The depth of a fragrance is the richness and intensity of the fragrance. Fragrances with a deep composition include heavy and powerful notes that stay on the skin longer and affect others over long distances.

Pine needles, cold and prickly, mix with woody notes and spicy clove. Memories of winter evenings and New Year holidays envelop you like a warm blanket. Citrus accents add brightness, but overall there remains a feeling of sadness. All in all, not bad, but something is missing to truly captivate

The scent is really strange, I haven't encountered anything like it before. Pine needles and spices dominate, and cedar cone resin is quite pronounced. Clove water and juicy orange notes were added to the fresh composition, but closer to the base, a woody note with a slight hint of burnt rubber appears. Honestly, I can't figure out if I like it or not 🤔
