Description of the composition

The note pyramid of Kyoto is shaped as a cohesive olfactory arc, where layers reveal themselves smoothly and sequentially. The creative approach of Tallow + Steel is clear in the pacing of the notes and the overall aesthetic. Every decision feels deliberate, and the structure feels complete all the way through.

From the group perspective the profile is anchored in Wood, Drinks, Green and Aromatic. The palette also extends to Citrus.

When the pyramid is blended into one block the fragrance opens as a single chord with a noble cedar mood: Cedar, Cypress, Green Tea, Kelp, Shiso and Yuzu. In this case 6 notes act as one integrated frame, forming lasting warm resonance that reads as cohesive from the start.

The heart and base are read as a continuous motion from lift to depth, which preserves the scent identity through drydown.
