Identity and Release History

Welcome to the world of Teo Cabanel, where every fragrance is a journey through time.

In 2007, the house introduced the eau de parfum Alahine, which instantly won the hearts of connoisseurs of exquisite compositions.

This release not only added a new page to the brand's history, founded back in 1893, but also became an embodiment of age-old traditions combining travel, love, and the art of perfumery.

Alahine fits perfectly into the Teo Cabanel line, highlighting its DNA through refined bottles with engraved names that preserve the legacy of chemist and doctor Théodore Cabanel.

Learn more about the brand on its official website, where other masterpieces are also presented.

Alahine belongs to the Floral and Oriental families, making it a universal choice for those who appreciate the balance between the delicacy of flowers and the warm sensuality of the East.

Released in 2007, this fragrance has earned a reputation as a timeless classic that remains relevant today, thanks to its complex and memorable character.

Positioning and Wearability

Alahine is created specifically for women seeking a fragrance that will highlight their elegance and confidence.

As a women's perfume, it offers a soft and unobtrusive presence with a barely perceptible trail, ideally suited for intimate encounters or workdays where subtlety is important.

Its concentration as an eau de parfum ensures longevity without overload, allowing the fragrance to unfold gradually throughout the day.

For optimal use, we recommend applying Alahine to pulse points on the skin, such as wrists and neck, so that body heat helps the notes shine in all their glory.

Although exact data on dosage for skin and clothing is not available, general advice is that 2-3 sprays are enough to create a light cloud that will accompany you without being overly persistent.

This fragrance is especially good in cool seasons, such as autumn and winter, or for evening outings when you want to add a touch of mystery and warmth.

Creators and Influence

Behind the creation of Alahine is the talented perfumer Jean-François Latty, whose experience and sensitivity to materials allowed him to weave this exquisite composition.

His work reflects a deep understanding of oriental and floral accords, making Alahine a significant contribution to the portfolio of Teo Cabanel, strengthening the brand's reputation as a master of complex and emotional fragrances.

Description of the composition

The note pyramid of Alahine begins with a refreshing accent of bergamot, which creates a light and sparkling introduction, inviting into the world of fragrance.

In the heart of the composition, the spicy depth of black pepper unfolds, harmoniously intertwined with the tenderness of jasmine and the romanticism of rose, creating a rich and multifaceted bouquet.

At the base, the fragrance gains a warm and cozy completeness thanks to the combination of benzoin, powdery iris, earthy patchouli, sweetish vanilla, and sensual musk.

This complex pyramid smoothly evolves on the skin, from a fresh start through a floral-spicy heart to a warm and long-lasting base, making each moment of wear unique and memorable.

Persistence
The persistence of a fragrance is determined by how long it can be felt. It is a characteristic associated with ingredients that evaporate slowly. Persistence depends on the physical properties of the perfume ingredients—mainly their volatility and environmental factors such as temperature and humidity.

Sillage
Imagine a light cloud of fragrance that, like an aeroplane trail, remains in the air after your appearance. This is the sillage - a subtle or vivid imprint left by the most diffuse element of a perfume composition. The sillage can be almost invisible when it is felt only by you and those around you. Or it can be so expressive that its presence is noticed even long after you have left.

Complexity and depth
The complexity of a fragrance is the number and variety of notes that create a unique composition. A complex fragrance contains many different notes that reveal themselves on the skin. The depth of a fragrance is the richness and intensity of the fragrance. Fragrances with a deep composition include heavy and powerful notes that stay on the skin longer and affect others over long distances.

What a cool scent! Warm and spicy, with notes of ylang-ylang, just super. Balsamic accents add a special twist to it, and the longevity is simply amazing. This oriental masterpiece will fit perfectly into summer days. A real delight

the scent is too intrusive, it practically screams about itself, but not in a pleasant way. it's like it's trying to get attention, but does it in a way that makes you want to turn away. the composition is interesting, of course, but on my skin it behaves terribly: it starts giving off some strange animalic notes. definitely test it before buying, otherwise you risk disappointment.

first you feel balsamic labdanum, which seems roasted with pepper, but not spicy, but rather strange. and this hint of animalics with amber - it's just too much. under all this warmth, ylang-ylang with sour rose slips through, and sweetish benzoin and a light powdery iris add even more discomfort. the scent is complex, but not in a good way. it's oriental, but not the kind you want to wear. rather, it's the image of a successful woman trying to be mysterious, but actually just looking pretentious

The fragrance is indeed mysterious and rich, with vanilla and patchouli clearly dominating. I get the feeling it's a bit of an evening scent, even blue, and very dense. But at the same time, it smells quite feminine 🤔

The fragrance looks appealing, but it's quite rich. The sweetness of benzoin and jasmine, along with honey notes, creates a feeling of overload. This perfume is clearly for those who appreciate oriental compositions, as oriental motifs are clearly discernible in it

I only recently encountered Teo Cabanel, and I don't even remember which number scent I have. This is my brand, and I've managed to try almost everything except the latest one. Alahine is simply my dream of honey that suddenly came true. The scent is thick, rich, with honeyed flowers and warm woody resins. Honestly, it's just gorgeous. But if you like fresh scents, you definitely won't like this one - it might seem like a real killer

The opening of the fragrance is truly impressive - orange blossom immediately grabs attention, but then it smoothly transitions into softer notes, reminiscent of grape juice. Gradually, the scent becomes more perfumey, as if you've entered a store with expensive perfumes. At this point, a light amber appears, and in the end, we get a warm, sweetish base that pleasantly envelops you. Its sillage is simply enormous, and I think this scent could garner many compliments. But, to be honest, it seemed a bit boring to me and not as oriental as I would have liked. The fragrance is high-quality and smells expensive, but there's nothing unexpected or special about it 😌

Alahin by Theo Cabanel is a truly pleasant and feminine perfume. For me, it's perfect for winter, filling the atmosphere with warmth and honeyed sweetness. Its depth and density create a feeling of coziness. The scent is very delicate, sincere, and sensual, evoking genuine emotions. Simply delightful!

The fragrance truly impresses with its sophistication and nobility. It gently envelops you without being overpowering. The oriental notes here are barely perceptible, like a soft whisper, without harsh sweetness or strong spices. Flowers, such as roses and ylang, create a delicate atmosphere, and vanilla adds softness. And then, at the end, amber appears - so creamy and sensual, it makes you ponder many things. I feel this encounter was important for me 😔
