Description of the composition

The olfactory structure of C'est La Vie unfolds as a continuous scent journey, where layers reveal themselves smoothly and sequentially. The creative approach of The Lab comes through in the pacing of the notes and the overall aesthetic. Every decision feels deliberate, and the structure feels complete all the way through.

The internal accord map is shaped by these accords: Citrus, Floral, Fruit and Wood with each one in a clear role. Additional accords such as Spicy expand the olfactory volume in the background. The gender direction is unisex, which sharpens how the fragrance is perceived.

Without strict stage separation the fragrance opens as a single chord with a juicy exotic mood: Apple, Cinnamon, Orange, Orange blossom, Patchouli and Vanilla.

The middle and base stages are perceived as a smooth transition from opening to trail, which gives the structure continuity.

At the note-group layer the profile is anchored in Fruit, Spicy, Citrus and Whiteflower. The framework further includes Wood and Gourmet.

Taken together C'est La Vie reads as a cohesive composition — the opening sets direction, the heart develops the core line, while the drydown anchors the memory. This is the type of composition best judged on skin.
