Description of the composition

The note pyramid of Knize Ten is shaped as a continuous scent journey, where layers reveal themselves without rush and without gaps. The signature of Knize comes through from the opening to the final trail. Nothing here feels random, and the structure feels complete all the way through. Eau de toilette emphasizes the right density and pace of development.

The internal accord map is built around these accords: Animalistic, Aromatic, Citrus and Floral without random overlap. Additional accords such as Musc, Wood, Powdery and Amber expand the olfactory volume in the background. The profile is masculine, which makes the scent profile easier to read.

In the top tier you meet invigorating sunny top notes: Bergamot, Geranium, Lemon and Orange.

When the opening settles you detect Cedar, Cinnamon, Clove, Iris, Orange blossom and Patchouli carrying a spicy-woody direction.

At olfactory-group level the structure relies on Citrus, Floral, Aromatic and Wood. The palette also extends to Spicy, Whiteflower, Ambery and Animals. At family level the scent maps to Leather.

Overall Knize Ten holds a coherent structure — the opening sets direction, the heart develops the core line, while the drydown anchors the memory. These are the scent structures best experienced in wear.

Persistence
The persistence of a fragrance is determined by how long it can be felt. It is a characteristic associated with ingredients that evaporate slowly. Persistence depends on the physical properties of the perfume ingredients—mainly their volatility and environmental factors such as temperature and humidity.

Sillage
Imagine a light cloud of fragrance that, like an aeroplane trail, remains in the air after your appearance. This is the sillage - a subtle or vivid imprint left by the most diffuse element of a perfume composition. The sillage can be almost invisible when it is felt only by you and those around you. Or it can be so expressive that its presence is noticed even long after you have left.

Very conspicuous

Complexity and depth
The complexity of a fragrance is the number and variety of notes that create a unique composition. A complex fragrance contains many different notes that reveal themselves on the skin. The depth of a fragrance is the richness and intensity of the fragrance. Fragrances with a deep composition include heavy and powerful notes that stay on the skin longer and affect others over long distances.
