About Thymes Clary Sage Tea

Thymes is more than just a fragrance brand—it is an entire philosophy born in Minnesota, USA, out of friendship and a love of beauty.

Founded in 1991 by childhood friends Leslie Ross and John Meyer, the brand creates fragrances that bring moments of comfort and inspiration.

In 2013, they launched Thymes Clary Sage Tea, a unisex eau de cologne that instantly won the hearts of lovers of natural, vibrant compositions.

The fragrance belongs to the fougère and green families, while its very strong sillage makes it a true statement.

Notes and Character

At the heart of Clary Sage Tea is an herbal infusion of natural herbs and flowers that refreshes, awakens the senses, and lifts the mood.

The composition centers on clary sage, lavender, and rosemary, complemented by sandalwood, tea, and amber. This fragrance is like a breath of fresh air: invigorating, soothing, and optimistic.

Its natural ingredients make it a modern, eco-conscious choice for those who value purity and harmony.

When to Wear It

Thanks to its unisex character and powerful sillage, Thymes Clary Sage Tea is ideal for everyday wear.

It suits both men and women who enjoy expressive aromatic accords.

This fragrance inspired a line of body care products, shower and bath essentials, as well as home fragrances in the form of candles and diffusers.

If this style appeals to you, take a look at similar fragrances: Corine de Farme Douceur Nature The Vert, The Merchant of Venice Timeless Lavender, and The Healing Garden Lavender Therapy.

Persistence
The persistence of a fragrance is determined by how long it can be felt. It is a characteristic associated with ingredients that evaporate slowly. Persistence depends on the physical properties of the perfume ingredients—mainly their volatility and environmental factors such as temperature and humidity.

Sillage
Imagine a light cloud of fragrance that, like an aeroplane trail, remains in the air after your appearance. This is the sillage - a subtle or vivid imprint left by the most diffuse element of a perfume composition. The sillage can be almost invisible when it is felt only by you and those around you. Or it can be so expressive that its presence is noticed even long after you have left.

Complexity and depth
The complexity of a fragrance is the number and variety of notes that create a unique composition. A complex fragrance contains many different notes that reveal themselves on the skin. The depth of a fragrance is the richness and intensity of the fragrance. Fragrances with a deep composition include heavy and powerful notes that stay on the skin longer and affect others over long distances.

the scent is not feminine at all, it's too sharp and cold. you can feel lavender with juniper, as well as clary sage and some kind of freshness, like from the mountains. it doesn't suit women, but on men - maybe, but in a different bottle. my husband even doubted it when he saw it, asking: "is this really a men's fragrance?" the bottle confused him

I can't imagine what kind of man would go for a bottle like that with this scent. Honestly though, the smell could totally suit both men and women. You can definitely picture a masculine vibe with this fragrance, despite the packaging. Hahaha))

A dance of flowers and herbs, like a memory of meadows. Images of chamomile come to mind, but the nose assures me they're not there. And so, all that's left is to guess. Longevity is not bad. It feels like a meadow on a hot day, when there's no breeze
