Description of the composition

The composition of TH Bold is shaped as a cohesive olfactory arc, where accents shift smoothly and sequentially. The style of Tommy Hilfiger comes through in details that define the fragrance identity. No excess details, only what works, and the composition keeps a clear direction. Eau de toilette emphasizes a balanced rhythm of unfolding.

The accord architecture rests on these accords: Aromatic, Citrus, Floral and Wood with each one in a clear role. Background accords such as Spicy add depth to the backdrop. The profile is masculine, which clarifies the composition character.

From the first breath you meet invigorating sunny top notes: Bergamot, Grapefruit, Pomelo and Tangerine.

In the middle phase you sense Boronia, Cardamom, Jasmine, Lavender and Mandarin flower carrying a velvety rose-iris direction.

At the note-group layer the structure relies on Citrus, Floral, Spicy and Whiteflower. The palette also extends to Green and Wood. Within olfactory families the scent maps to Citrus, Fern and Wood.

Overall TH Bold holds a coherent structure — the start forms character, the central phase adds depth, and the base secures the trail. These are the scent structures best judged in wear.

Persistence
The persistence of a fragrance is determined by how long it can be felt. It is a characteristic associated with ingredients that evaporate slowly. Persistence depends on the physical properties of the perfume ingredients—mainly their volatility and environmental factors such as temperature and humidity.

Sillage
Imagine a light cloud of fragrance that, like an aeroplane trail, remains in the air after your appearance. This is the sillage - a subtle or vivid imprint left by the most diffuse element of a perfume composition. The sillage can be almost invisible when it is felt only by you and those around you. Or it can be so expressive that its presence is noticed even long after you have left.

Complexity and depth
The complexity of a fragrance is the number and variety of notes that create a unique composition. A complex fragrance contains many different notes that reveal themselves on the skin. The depth of a fragrance is the richness and intensity of the fragrance. Fragrances with a deep composition include heavy and powerful notes that stay on the skin longer and affect others over long distances.

This scent really didn't work for me. The first fifteen minutes are, of course, invigorating citrus, pomelo, and grapefruit, but then some predictable nonsense begins. Bright cardamom makes it too brutal, and that sweetness of jasmine is completely out of place. I don't understand how anyone can wear this; it's just unbearable 😒

The fragrance feels fresh and a bit prickly to me. Citrus notes mixed with lavender and cardamom are clearly audible. However, it's a bit soapy, which makes it somewhat intrusive. Nevertheless, it's worth noting that the execution of the fragrance is at a high level
