Perfume information

Description of the composition

The olfactory structure of Absolu unfolds as an expressive line of development, where layers reveal themselves without rush and without gaps. The style of Tory Burch comes through in details that define the fragrance identity. Every decision feels deliberate, and the composition keeps a clear direction. Eau de parfum supports a balanced rhythm of unfolding.

At the note-group layer the structure relies on Fruit, Whiteflower, Spicy and Floral. The framework further includes Wood and Gourmet. From a family perspective the scent maps to Floral.

Right at the start you sense vibrant berry first notes: Blackcurrant, Lily of the Valley and Pink pepper.

At the core of development you detect Jasmine Sambac, Rose and Tuberose holding a sensual jasmine direction.

The internal accord map rests on these accords: Floral, Fruit, Wood and Spicy without random overlap. The profile is feminine, which makes the scent profile easier to read.

Taken together Absolu reads as a cohesive composition — the first stage creates momentum, the middle layer carries the identity, and the final phase leaves a stable imprint. These are the scent structures best experienced through real development.

Persistence
The persistence of a fragrance is determined by how long it can be felt. It is a characteristic associated with ingredients that evaporate slowly. Persistence depends on the physical properties of the perfume ingredients—mainly their volatility and environmental factors such as temperature and humidity.

Sillage
Imagine a light cloud of fragrance that, like an aeroplane trail, remains in the air after your appearance. This is the sillage - a subtle or vivid imprint left by the most diffuse element of a perfume composition. The sillage can be almost invisible when it is felt only by you and those around you. Or it can be so expressive that its presence is noticed even long after you have left.

Complexity and depth
The complexity of a fragrance is the number and variety of notes that create a unique composition. A complex fragrance contains many different notes that reveal themselves on the skin. The depth of a fragrance is the richness and intensity of the fragrance. Fragrances with a deep composition include heavy and powerful notes that stay on the skin longer and affect others over long distances.

The fragrance is really rich, with bright woody and spicy notes. The longevity is impressive, but for me, it feels too serious and mature 🌲

The fragrance is simply incredibly rich, you can feel white flowers and resin in it, as well as tart blackcurrant berries with sugar. Tuberose is also present here. It sounds quite mature and deep 🌸

The sillage, yes, from afar it's appealing, but on yourself, it feels completely different. As if tuberose and jasmine are just overwhelming, too cloying and sweet, creating a heavy feeling. I can't figure out if I like it or not 🤔
