Fragrance information:

A Way for Him Trussardi, introduced to the world in 2014, is marketed as a masculine fragrance, drawing from the fern and fruit families. Perfumer Alexandra Kosinski left a distinct mark on this composition. By character, it falls into the wood, fruit, and gourmet groups. The palette of this fragrance is exceptionally rich: traces of citrus can also be found — a rare combination that makes this perfume truly one of a kind. Concentration — eau de toilette: exactly what it needs to be.

It carries a moderate sillage, leaving a trail that lingers pleasantly in the air. Longevity is moderate — not too much, not too little, just right. Country of origin — Italy. A rich, layered composition that reveals itself differently depending on your mood and the time of day.

Description of the composition

The olfactory structure of A Way for Him is built as an expressive line of development, where layers reveal themselves without rush and without gaps. The style of Trussardi is clear in the way notes appear and fade. Nothing here feels random, and the structure feels complete all the way through. Eau de toilette sets a balanced rhythm of unfolding.

From the first breath you sense radiant lemon-bergamot opening notes: Bergamot, Grapefruit and Lemon. These 3 notes form sunny vitality that anchors the first impression immediately.

In the central layer you sense Green Apple and Marine accord carrying a velvety fruity direction.

The accord architecture is built around these accords: Citrus, Fruit, Wood and Spicy with each one in a clear role. Background accords such as Marine add depth to the backdrop. The profile is masculine, which sharpens how the fragrance is perceived. In wear duration Middle indicates a stable lasting impression.

At olfactory-group level the structure relies on Citrus, Fruit, Gourmet and Wood. The framework further includes Aquatic.

In summary A Way for Him holds a coherent structure — the start forms character, the middle layer carries the identity, while the drydown anchors the memory. These are the fragrances best understood on skin.

Persistence
The persistence of a fragrance is determined by how long it can be felt. It is a characteristic associated with ingredients that evaporate slowly. Persistence depends on the physical properties of the perfume ingredients—mainly their volatility and environmental factors such as temperature and humidity.

Sillage
Imagine a light cloud of fragrance that, like an aeroplane trail, remains in the air after your appearance. This is the sillage - a subtle or vivid imprint left by the most diffuse element of a perfume composition. The sillage can be almost invisible when it is felt only by you and those around you. Or it can be so expressive that its presence is noticed even long after you have left.

Complexity and depth

The scent bursts in like a cold shower. Citrus at the forefront, then a strange aquatic note. Sparks play, then fade, yielding to patchouli. Not a masterpiece, but not crap. Intriguing

It's amazing how many reviews there are for the women's version, but only one for the men's! :))) The opening is very bright, citrusy, with a slight sharpness, and then patchouli slowly emerges, making it quite rich already

When they told me about the composition, I was sure I wouldn't like it. But, to my surprise, I actually enjoyed it! However, I think the patchouli is a bit overdone. I prefer when it develops closer to the base, but here it's immediately upfront, and that loses some of the mystery. The anticipation of this earthy and resinous scent no longer excites me. Plus, the patchouli somewhat overshadows the other notes, but overall the bouquet looks beautiful and energetic
