Key fragrance characteristics

Perfume information

Description of the composition

The olfactory structure of Vanilla, Lavender & Geranium unfolds as a cohesive olfactory arc, where accents shift with precision and warmth. The signature of Urban Rituelle is clear in details that define the fragrance identity. Nothing here feels random, and the structure feels complete all the way through.

At the note-group layer the composition is built around Floral, Green, Gourmet and Whiteflower. From a family perspective the composition sits in Floral.

When the structure is mixed the notes arrive together with a voluminous floral mood: Geranium, Lavender and Vanilla. Here 3 notes work as one coherent layer, building an elegant floral wave that reads as cohesive from the start.

The deeper layers are read as a continuous motion from lift to depth, which preserves the scent identity through drydown.

The internal accord map is driven by these accords: Aromatic, Floral and Spicy with each one in a clear role. The profile is feminine, which sharpens how the fragrance is perceived.

Taken together Vanilla, Lavender & Geranium reads as a cohesive composition — the start forms character, the heart develops the core line, while the drydown anchors the memory. These are the fragrances best judged through real development.

Persistence
The persistence of a fragrance is determined by how long it can be felt. It is a characteristic associated with ingredients that evaporate slowly. Persistence depends on the physical properties of the perfume ingredients—mainly their volatility and environmental factors such as temperature and humidity.

Sillage
Imagine a light cloud of fragrance that, like an aeroplane trail, remains in the air after your appearance. This is the sillage - a subtle or vivid imprint left by the most diffuse element of a perfume composition. The sillage can be almost invisible when it is felt only by you and those around you. Or it can be so expressive that its presence is noticed even long after you have left.

Very conspicuous

Complexity and depth
The complexity of a fragrance is the number and variety of notes that create a unique composition. A complex fragrance contains many different notes that reveal themselves on the skin. The depth of a fragrance is the richness and intensity of the fragrance. Fragrances with a deep composition include heavy and powerful notes that stay on the skin longer and affect others over long distances.

When I see the word "vanilla" in a fragrance name, I don't expect anything special. Usually it's just vanilla, a little sweeter or less so. But honestly, here the name and the bottle's contents don't match. The first thing that hits your nose is the smell of geranium, so specific you can't mistake it. And vanilla? It's just a hint here, and that's it
