Identity and Release History

Imagine a fragrance that from the first breath transports you to a world of tenderness and passion—this is Vera Wang Lovestruck, released in 2011.

This perfume is a vivid embodiment of the elegant philosophy of the Vera Wang brand, known as the queen of wedding fashion, whose creations since 2002 give women a sense of sophistication and excitement.

Entering the Lovestruck collection, it continues the traditions of romance and refinement, offering a unique journey into the world of emotions.

When you spray this perfume water, you feel how the brand's story comes to life: from wedding dresses to fragrances, every detail is infused with a love for beauty.

Lovestruck is not just a perfume—it's a style statement, perfectly suited for those who appreciate depth and lightness simultaneously.

Positioning and Wearability

The feminine fragrance Vera Wang Lovestruck belongs to the Floral family, making it a versatile companion for daily life and special moments.

Its sillage is characterized as barely perceptible, which is perfect for those who prefer delicate, intimate fragrances that don't overwhelm others.

This perfume unfolds softly, starting with citrus bursts and transitioning to a floral heart, making it an excellent choice for spring and summer days, romantic dates, or office workdays where light confidence is needed.

Although specific dosage recommendations for skin and clothing are not indicated, experts advise applying 2-3 sprays to pulse points for optimal development.

Thanks to its airy texture, Lovestruck does not overwhelm but rather envelops with a subtle trail, highlighting individuality without being intrusive.

Creators and Influence

Behind the creation of this magical bouquet is the talent of perfumer Stephen Nilsen, whose experience brought balance between freshness and sensuality to the composition.

His work with Vera Wang Lovestruck reflects the ability to blend traditional floral motifs with modern accents, enhancing the brand's reputation as a master of romantic narratives.

This fragrance not only enriched the Vera Wang perfume line but also became a favorite among connoisseurs seeking something between playfulness and elegance.

Persistence
The persistence of a fragrance is determined by how long it can be felt. It is a characteristic associated with ingredients that evaporate slowly. Persistence depends on the physical properties of the perfume ingredients—mainly their volatility and environmental factors such as temperature and humidity.

Sillage
Imagine a light cloud of fragrance that, like an aeroplane trail, remains in the air after your appearance. This is the sillage - a subtle or vivid imprint left by the most diffuse element of a perfume composition. The sillage can be almost invisible when it is felt only by you and those around you. Or it can be so expressive that its presence is noticed even long after you have left.

Complexity and depth

ART. Artificial flowers are something that only evokes negative emotions in me. As Natalia rightly noted, their appearance leaves much to be desired and brings back unpleasant memories. The scent didn't work for me either, I didn't like it at all

The fragrance is rich, the fruits are bright, but with a slight green accent and notes of fresh flowers. Overall, it's not a bad perfume, but there are two nuances that upset me: the cap looks strange, and the longevity leaves much to be desired 😒

On me, this fragrance turned out to be terribly bitter and too tart, almost until the very end. In the base, there's only a barely noticeable hint of some vague florality and a little fruit freshness 😒

guava with aquatic flowers sounds quite unusual. it gives the impression that the fragrance isn't quite finished. it seems too watery and unexpressive

The scent is indeed interesting, sweetish-fruity. The guava here doesn't feel like a fresh fruit, but rather an artificial smell, but despite that, it sounds quite pleasant. It's just the bottle that disappoints me a bit. It looks too gloomy, and because of that, I wouldn't choose this fragrance for myself 😕

The appearance makes me sad, it reminds me of something lost, as if it's a scent for a character from a gloomy cartoon 🌧️ Guava notes sound pleasant, but the lotus, which gives me allergies, spoils everything 😔

The scent is really bright and youthful, but its longevity leaves much to be desired. I have to reapply it 3-4 times a day!! But despite that, it's very pleasant - you can clearly smell orange and something like cotton candy in it. The bottle also pleases the eye, looking like a cute decoration on the table

The scent is simply awful and completely unremarkable. LoveTrack tries to be sweet and stand out, but because of that, it becomes too intrusive and annoying. The poor longevity only makes the situation worse, and although the opening notes might still be tolerable, overall it's unbearable. I wore it, then just threw it away and forgot about it

I recently received this "masterpiece" as a gift - the bottle, of course, looks impressive, clearly for a present. But the scent itself... it's too sweet and bright, reminiscent of chewing gum. It's a shame, but it's completely unmemorable and too intrusive, like many modern perfumes. I expected more from Vera Wang, as her first fragrances were simply amazing!!
