Versace launched Tabac Imperial in 2021 — and it was a brilliant move. By character, a unisex fragrance drawing from the wood family. Conceived and brought to life by perfumer Marie Salamagne. By character, it falls into the sweet and wood groups. Created within the Atelier Versace collection and available in eau de parfum.

The sillage is extremely noticeable — noticeable, but never overwhelming. A light touch on clothing — 1-2 sprays — is all it takes. The longevity is very high — it will be with you all day and well into the evening. Made in Italy, backed by a long and proud tradition. A rich, layered composition that reveals itself differently depending on your mood and the time of day.

Description of the composition

The olfactory structure of Tabac Imperial is built as a living composition, where layers reveal themselves without rush and without gaps. The creative approach of Versace is evident from the opening to the final trail. Nothing here feels random, and the fragrance holds its character from opening to trail. Eau de parfum sets a balanced rhythm of unfolding.

Without strict stage separation the opening appears as one connected movement with a soft-dry woody mood: Benzoin, Honey, Immortelle, Nagarmotha, Patchouli, Tobacco and Woody Accord.

The inner phases are felt as a smooth transition from opening to trail, which gives the structure continuity.

The internal accord map is driven by these accords: Balsamic, Gourmet and Wood with each one in a clear role. The stylistic positioning is unisex, which sharpens how the fragrance is perceived. For persistence Very high points to a sustained drydown presence.

At the note-group layer the composition is built around Sweet, Wood and Balsamic.
