Key fragrance characteristics

Perfume information

Description of the composition

The scent of Sapphire is built as an expressive line of development, where notes flow without rush and without gaps. The creative approach of Versailles Beaute is evident from the opening to the final trail. Nothing here feels random, and the fragrance holds its character from opening to trail.

At olfactory-group level the structure relies on Citrus, Green, Spicy and Aromatic. It also reaches into Gourmet, Wood and Musk. At family level the fragrance belongs to Fern and Wood.

As soon as the fragrance opens you detect radiant lemon-bergamot top notes: Bergamot, Lavender and Nutmeg.

In the middle phase you meet Lavender, Orange and Rosemary carrying a pure leafy direction. In the final layer the composition is fixed through Vanilla, Woody Accord and musk, reinforcing a cozy praline trail.

The internal accord map is built around these accords: Aromatic, Citrus, Musc and Wood with each one in a clear role. Background accords such as Spicy enrich the profile without taking over. The gender direction is masculine, which makes the scent profile easier to read.

Taken together Sapphire holds a coherent structure — the start forms character, the heart develops the core line, and the base secures the trail. This is the type of composition best understood in wear.

Persistence
The persistence of a fragrance is determined by how long it can be felt. It is a characteristic associated with ingredients that evaporate slowly. Persistence depends on the physical properties of the perfume ingredients—mainly their volatility and environmental factors such as temperature and humidity.

Sillage
Imagine a light cloud of fragrance that, like an aeroplane trail, remains in the air after your appearance. This is the sillage - a subtle or vivid imprint left by the most diffuse element of a perfume composition. The sillage can be almost invisible when it is felt only by you and those around you. Or it can be so expressive that its presence is noticed even long after you have left.

Very conspicuous

Complexity and depth
The complexity of a fragrance is the number and variety of notes that create a unique composition. A complex fragrance contains many different notes that reveal themselves on the skin. The depth of a fragrance is the richness and intensity of the fragrance. Fragrances with a deep composition include heavy and powerful notes that stay on the skin longer and affect others over long distances.

This scent reminds me of cool greenery with a slight lavender hint, but there's something soapy about it that kinda throws me off. Its freshness is truly versatile, and many people have really liked it. The base notes sound quite interesting 🌿
