Perfume information

Description of the composition

The note pyramid of Acquamarina is built as a continuous scent journey, where notes flow without rush and without gaps. The creative approach of Villa Buti is recognizable from the opening to the final trail. Nothing here feels random, and the composition keeps a clear direction. Fragrant mist sets a balanced rhythm of unfolding.

When the pyramid is blended into one block the notes arrive together with a structural herbal mood: Citrus accord, Mint and Thyme. In this case 3 notes sound as one integrated frame, building olfactory composure that reads as cohesive from the start.

The deeper layers are perceived as a gradual shift without abrupt breaks, which gives the structure continuity.

The internal accord map is built around these accords: Aquatic, Musc and Cosmetic without random overlap. The profile is feminine, which sharpens how the fragrance is perceived. In wear duration High suggests confident staying power.

At the note-group layer the composition is built around Citrus, Aromatic and Aquatic. Within olfactory families the scent maps to Water.

Overall Acquamarina holds a coherent structure — the first stage creates momentum, the middle layer carries the identity, while the drydown anchors the memory. This is the type of composition best experienced in wear.

Persistence
The persistence of a fragrance is determined by how long it can be felt. It is a characteristic associated with ingredients that evaporate slowly. Persistence depends on the physical properties of the perfume ingredients—mainly their volatility and environmental factors such as temperature and humidity.

Sillage
Imagine a light cloud of fragrance that, like an aeroplane trail, remains in the air after your appearance. This is the sillage - a subtle or vivid imprint left by the most diffuse element of a perfume composition. The sillage can be almost invisible when it is felt only by you and those around you. Or it can be so expressive that its presence is noticed even long after you have left.

Complexity and depth
The complexity of a fragrance is the number and variety of notes that create a unique composition. A complex fragrance contains many different notes that reveal themselves on the skin. The depth of a fragrance is the richness and intensity of the fragrance. Fragrances with a deep composition include heavy and powerful notes that stay on the skin longer and affect others over long distances.

This sea really looks very abstract. The aldehyde notes give me associations with the eighties, as if someone mixed resins with flowers. The fragrance, to be honest, is quite strange. I can't figure out if I like it or not.
