Perfume information

Description of the composition

The note pyramid of Damascato unfolds as a continuous scent journey, where notes flow smoothly and sequentially. The signature of Villa Buti comes through in the way notes appear and fade. No excess details, only what works, and the structure feels complete all the way through. Fragrant mist keeps the depth and body this composition needs.

At the note-group layer the structure relies on Spicy, Leather, Wood and Aromatic. It also reaches into Whiteflower and Floral. Within olfactory families the fragrance belongs to Chypre and Floral.

When the pyramid is blended into one block the fragrance opens as a single chord with a peppery-spicy mood: Anise, Leather accord, Patchouli, Tarragon and White Flowers.

The deeper layers are perceived as a smooth transition from opening to trail, which keeps the fragrance coherent.

The olfactory framework is built around these accords: Aromatic, Floral, Wood and Leather forming a compact and readable structure. Secondary accord layers such as Spicy enrich the profile without taking over.

Taken together Damascato sounds complete from start to finish — the first stage creates momentum, the heart develops the core line, and the base secures the trail. These are the scent structures best understood in wear.

Persistence
The persistence of a fragrance is determined by how long it can be felt. It is a characteristic associated with ingredients that evaporate slowly. Persistence depends on the physical properties of the perfume ingredients—mainly their volatility and environmental factors such as temperature and humidity.

Sillage
Imagine a light cloud of fragrance that, like an aeroplane trail, remains in the air after your appearance. This is the sillage - a subtle or vivid imprint left by the most diffuse element of a perfume composition. The sillage can be almost invisible when it is felt only by you and those around you. Or it can be so expressive that its presence is noticed even long after you have left.

Very conspicuous

Complexity and depth
The complexity of a fragrance is the number and variety of notes that create a unique composition. A complex fragrance contains many different notes that reveal themselves on the skin. The depth of a fragrance is the richness and intensity of the fragrance. Fragrances with a deep composition include heavy and powerful notes that stay on the skin longer and affect others over long distances.

All flowers and spices. Leather is almost imperceptible, you have to search for it with effort. The scent, in my opinion, is completely faceless, as if it just exists but leaves no trace. It seems like something too simple and mundane
