Description of the composition

The scent of Chevalier Noir unfolds as a layered story, where notes flow smoothly and sequentially. The signature of Vinci is evident from the opening to the final trail. Every decision feels deliberate, and the composition keeps a clear direction.

From the group perspective the structure relies on Green, Musk, Balsamic and Wood.

In the top tier you sense grassy-green opening note: Violet leaf. This 1 note sets morning coolness sensation that gives the fragrance a clear opening statement.

In the central layer you notice musk holding a soft-powdery direction. In the base the structure settles through Amber and Patchouli, reinforcing a velvety incense trail.

The accord architecture is built around these accords: Musc, Wood and Mineral with each one in a clear role. The profile is masculine, which makes the scent profile easier to read.

Taken together Chevalier Noir sounds complete from start to finish — the start forms character, the heart develops the core line, while the drydown anchors the memory. These are the scent structures best experienced on skin.
