West Third Brand launched Rambler in 2014 — and it was a brilliant move. By character, a masculine fragrance drawing from the aromatic family. Conceived and brought to life by perfumer Michael Loring Probst. Part of the Société de Senteur collection, available as eau de parfum.

Description of the composition

The scent of Rambler evolves as a cohesive olfactory arc, where layers reveal themselves without rush and without gaps. The creative approach of West Third Brand is recognizable in the pacing of the notes and the overall aesthetic. No excess details, only what works, and the composition keeps a clear direction. Eau de parfum emphasizes the right density and pace of development.

Without strict stage separation the opening appears as one connected movement with a pure botanical mood: Ambergris, Bitter Orange, Cucumber, Lavender, Leather accord, Lemon and Pistachio.

The inner phases are read as a continuous motion from lift to depth, which gives the structure continuity.

The olfactory framework is built around these accords: Aromatic, Aquatic, Citrus and Gourmet forming a compact and readable structure. Secondary accord layers such as Musc, Wood, Amber and Leather enrich the profile without taking over.

At the note-group layer the profile is anchored in Ambery, Citrus, Green and Leather. The framework further includes Fruit, Wood, Musk and Aromatic.

Overall Rambler reads as a cohesive composition — the first stage creates momentum, the central phase adds depth, and the base secures the trail. This is the type of composition best experienced on skin.
