Description of the composition

The note pyramid of Chypre 2020 unfolds as a continuous scent journey, where layers reveal themselves with precision and warmth. The style of Yan Frolov is clear in the way notes appear and fade. Nothing here feels random, and the composition keeps a clear direction.

At olfactory-group level the composition is built around Balsamic, Ambery, Citrus and Animals. The palette also extends to Green, Floral, Earthy / Mossy and Wood. From a family perspective the fragrance belongs to Chypre.

Without strict stage separation the opening appears as one connected movement with a pure botanical mood: Amber, Ambroxan, Benzoin, Bergamot, Castoreum, Galbanum and Labdanum.

The inner phases are felt as a gradual shift without abrupt breaks, which preserves the scent identity through drydown.

The accord profile is shaped by these accords: Animalistic, Balsamic, Aromatic and Citrus forming a compact and readable structure. Secondary accord layers such as Gourmet, Floral, Musc and Wood add depth to the backdrop.
