Description of the composition

The olfactory structure of Lilac Amethyst is built as a cohesive olfactory arc, where accents shift smoothly and sequentially. The creative approach of Yardley is evident in the pacing of the notes and the overall aesthetic. Nothing here feels random, and the composition keeps a clear direction. Eau de toilette keeps the right density and pace of development.

At the note-group layer the structure relies on Aromatic, Citrus, Fruit and Spicy. The palette also extends to Floral, Ambery, Wood and Whiteflower. At family level the scent maps to Floral and Wood.

At the opening of the pyramid you catch sparkling citrus opening notes: Basil, Bergamot, Lemon and Pear.

At the core of development you detect Black Pepper, Fig, Heliotrope and Peach keeping a soft nectarous direction.

The accord profile is shaped by these accords: Aromatic, Citrus, Floral and Fruit without random overlap. Secondary accord layers such as Wood, Amber and Spicy enrich the profile without taking over. The stylistic positioning is feminine, which makes the scent profile easier to read.

Overall Lilac Amethyst sounds complete from start to finish — the start forms character, the central phase adds depth, and the base secures the trail. These are the fragrances best understood in wear.
