The scent of Poise Noire unfolds as a continuous scent journey, where notes flow smoothly and sequentially. The creative approach of Yardley is recognizable in the pacing of the notes and the overall aesthetic. Nothing here feels random, and the structure feels complete all the way through. Eau de parfum sets the right density and pace of development.

In the top tier you catch cardamom-peppery opening notes: Black Pepper, Blackcurrant and Mandarin. These 3 notes build warm spicy pulse that gives the fragrance a clear opening statement.

When the opening settles you detect Jasmine, Peony and Water Lily holding a velvety rose-iris direction.

The accord profile is shaped by these accords: Citrus, Floral, Fruit and Musc without random overlap. Additional accords such as Wood and Spicy enrich the profile without taking over.

Wow, it's so vibrant! Sweet blackcurrant berries and mandarins create a true spectacle. As the fragrance develops, you can feel the rose. Very feminine, but sometimes it can be a bit much. It's best worn in colder weather ❄️

Blackcurrant with rose - that's an interesting combination. Although there's a slight soapiness, the opening of the fragrance is rich, floral-berry. Overall, it's captivating and very pleasant. You could say it somewhat reminds me of Lancôme's Midnight Rose and Jeanne Couture, but it has its own special charisma
