Description of the composition

The olfactory structure of Chess evolves as a cohesive olfactory arc, where accents shift without rush and without gaps. The style of Yves de Sistelle comes through in details that define the fragrance identity. Nothing here feels random, and the structure feels complete all the way through.

At the note-group layer the composition is built around Spicy, Wood, Ambery and Balsamic. It also reaches into Sweet, Floral, Leather and Gourmet. From a family perspective the fragrance belongs to East.

In the first seconds you catch piquant warm opening notes: Cardamom, Ginger and Juniper.

In the middle phase you sense Ambergris, Frankincense, Honey, Iris, Leather accord and Myrrh holding a deep balsamic direction.

The accord profile is built around these accords: Balsamic, Citrus, Gourmet and Wood forming a compact and readable structure. Background accords such as Powdery, Amber, Leather and Spicy expand the olfactory volume in the background. The stylistic positioning is masculine, which clarifies the composition character.
