Description of the composition

The composition of Style for Women is shaped as a layered story, where notes flow without rush and without gaps. The style of Yves de Sistelle comes through in the way notes appear and fade. Every decision feels deliberate, and the structure feels complete all the way through.

From the group perspective the profile is anchored in Citrus, Fruit, Spicy and Whiteflower. It also reaches into Floral, Ambery, Balsamic and Wood. From a family perspective the scent maps to Floral and Fruit.

From the first breath you catch sparkling citrus top notes: Bergamot, Lychee, Mandarin and Pink pepper.

In the central layer you detect Jasmine grandiflorum, Orchid, Peony and Rose holding a velvety rose-iris direction.

The accord profile is driven by these accords: Citrus, Gourmet, Floral and Fruit without random overlap. Secondary accord layers such as Musc, Wood, Amber and Spicy enrich the profile without taking over. The gender direction is feminine, which makes the scent profile easier to read.

Overall Style for Women reads as a cohesive composition — the first stage creates momentum, the middle layer carries the identity, and the final phase leaves a stable imprint. These are the fragrances best understood on skin.

Persistence
The persistence of a fragrance is determined by how long it can be felt. It is a characteristic associated with ingredients that evaporate slowly. Persistence depends on the physical properties of the perfume ingredients—mainly their volatility and environmental factors such as temperature and humidity.

Sillage
Imagine a light cloud of fragrance that, like an aeroplane trail, remains in the air after your appearance. This is the sillage - a subtle or vivid imprint left by the most diffuse element of a perfume composition. The sillage can be almost invisible when it is felt only by you and those around you. Or it can be so expressive that its presence is noticed even long after you have left.

Very conspicuous

Complexity and depth
The complexity of a fragrance is the number and variety of notes that create a unique composition. A complex fragrance contains many different notes that reveal themselves on the skin. The depth of a fragrance is the richness and intensity of the fragrance. Fragrances with a deep composition include heavy and powerful notes that stay on the skin longer and affect others over long distances.

Jasmine in this fragrance smells very feminine and beautiful, and the sweetness of lychee adds an interesting touch. There's a slight tartness to it, but it's rather pleasant. I didn't catch any aquatic notes, just delicate floral accents and light citrus undertones
