I can't do anything with this perfume. It's one of those cases where the pyramid seems good, but something is clearly off. I had the same situation with ELDO Putain des Palaces. The pyramid there is just perfect, but it's impossible to wear - some nasty, heavy note, like it smells of fuel oil. I barely smell musks, no idea what they smell like. I feel something similar in JHAG Citizen Queen too, but not as strongly. With Putain, they share notes - musk and ginger. And with Citizen Queen, there are more - labdanum, vanilla, and musk. The problem isn't ginger, not labdanum, and certainly not vanilla. It turns out that I detect some sweaty, rough musk in these three fragrances; there's simply no other explanation. This dirty musk prevents me from enjoying them. And in Oscente, it's even worse - there are active woody notes, smoky tobacco, and labdanum, with less vanilla. The fragrance turns out bulky and too active, but in the base, it softens and becomes more wearable. But enduring it on myself for several hours - I don't want to, it's not my scent. For me, they are all in the same category as ELDO Putain and JHAG Citizen Queen

What an amazing fragrance! It's soft, green, and has a light salty note. It reminds me of the freshness you can feel after the rain, although, seemingly, it has nothing in common with other perfumes. But that spicy saltiness, it's really there. Cynefin is something young and creative, very light. At the start, you feel aquatic notes, and in the base, woodiness unfolds. No sharp edges, it's so rounded and soft. Herbal notes seem to dissolve in salty water, and I can't pick out anything specific - it sounds like a harmonious green chorus with woody accents. I'm thrilled that it's now in my collection, alongside its brighter brother Silvan 🌿

The fragrance pyramid, unfortunately, doesn't match reality, and it's noticeable. It was naive to rely on reviews, especially when there are so few. I expected something special, but there's no sand, caviar, or sea water here, which is exactly what attracted me. It's good that the price isn't high, so I don't regret the money spent; let it sit. But the disappointment is still there. Even inexpensive fragrances can surprise, but here it's just a sweet-spicy smell. Although the bottle color is blue, which is usually associated with something fresh and marine, in reality, it's a warm spicy scent. Cardamom, pepper, and geranium might be present, but that's it. The fragrance isn't bright, sits close to the skin, and is too sweet. It's forgettable and doesn't evoke much interest. I would have liked more brightness and the promised salty notes; then it would have been much more interesting. Expectations and reality didn't align, and Guess couldn't surprise me with anything special 😕

Escada's fragrance truly surprises, and this applies to everything - from the packaging design to the scent itself. The bottle resembles a streamlined ice cube, but it's not completely full, which is a bit confusing - as if 4-5 milliliters are missing. But it's pleasant to hold, very comfortable to the touch. And the scent itself is something sweet and delicious, with notes of vanilla, flowers, and pear. The pear here is ripe and juicy, and together with vanilla, it creates the main accord. Lychee isn't noticeable, but there's a velvety sweetness, perhaps orange blossom, which adds tenderness and brightness. The fragrance is romantic and feminine, not light and fresh, but rather assertive and interesting. I really liked it, and that's truly unexpected for Escada. By the way, it's a gift from a friend! If you love sweet fragrances with fruity notes and a light floral accent, then you'll definitely like this scent. Floral-dessert, unusual - I give a big like for the design and the fragrance! 🌸

What nonsense! Fell in love from the first second? It's just thick rose jam, spiced with some peachy vanilla. Sweet, soft, but where's the elegance? It reminds me of Mancera Roses Vanille, but that doesn't mean they're the same. Ghost is for those who adore bright and sweet roses. There's a bit of a lipstick vibe, but the vanilla here isn't gourmand, it's the kind that comes with peach, which is practically oozing honey. The bottle, by the way, is matte, grey-blue, looks decent. But, honestly, I didn't expect Ghost fragrances to surprise me so much. Now I'm thinking, maybe I should try something else from them )

A gift from a friend turned out to be a real disappointment. Instead of joy, when my boyfriend and I started guessing the notes, I only felt a heaviness. Cardamom, balms, and vetiver - yes, I caught those, but the citruses he noticed just irritated me. Geranium, which clearly dominates here, I didn't recognize at all, although it seems to be everywhere. The fragrance, to be honest, is too masculine and harsh. Freshness and spices with powdery notes from iris root - that's not what I'd want to wear. Citrus under a woody-balsamic sauce creates a feeling of some kind of heaviness, not lightness. A gift that should have brought joy actually only causes dissatisfaction. The bottle, of course, is small and cute, but that doesn't save the situation. I'm not sure I can wear this, even though I liked it. On my skin, it turns into some kind of sweetness, but that doesn't make it better

I got this perfume for a ridiculous price (950 rubles for 30 ml), but as they say, there's no such thing as a free lunch. The spray nozzle turned out to be broken, even though the perfume itself was in its packaging, all proper. It happens, I'll use it as is-I don't want to return something so beautiful. Let me start with the packaging and the bottle, as that matters to me too. The bottle is simply gorgeous-tall and heavy. The glass is thick, the cap is metal. It feels really nice in the hand. The silhouette is shaped like a twisted star, with the Maubussin label. The design is stunning! As for the scent, it strikes me as a chypre with notes of patchouli. I get tart berries, possibly rhubarb, though the rhubarb here isn't like in other fragrances with that note. It's just a juicy, sour accord. I don't detect caramel, and that's actually a good thing, as it could have cheapened the scent. The sweetness is more floral, albeit quite subtle. Pour Elle comes across as very cohesive. It doesn't change on me from start to base; it sits monolithic, with tart berries and a slightly powdery sandalwood. And I keep sensing patchouli running through it all. The fragrance is beautiful and well-mannered. The bottle is also very beautiful. The only downside is the defective sprayer-otherwise, it's simply delightful. It's a real find as a gift for a woman; it will leave an unforgettable impression. P.S. I've reordered a 50 ml bottle, and the defective 30 ml is going to the audience. Although I suspect the 50 ml might also arrive defective. Many people complain about this flaw; when I contacted the Don-Parfum online store in Rostov, they told me that a lot of bottles from the Pour Elle collection arrive damaged. I'll wait for my 50 ml and update once it arrives.
