This fragrance evokes associations with wood that has long been lacquered. Warm, but not fresh, rather weathered, which makes it less sharp. It doesn't smell of alcohol or acetone, but rather warm and sweetish, though not in a gourmand sense. I don't detect geraniums, plums, or bright oud. Bergamot, perhaps, breaks through at the beginning, but very faintly. The woody notes, muted and unobtrusive, I perceive clearly. The fragrance is, without a doubt, woody-balsamic and slightly sweetish, probably due to vanilla in the base, but it's clearly not feminine. This is definitely a masculine scent, unusual, niche: it won't suit everyone, and for those it does suit, probably not for everyday wear. I tested it beforehand and considered my choice. I liked it. Somewhere in the background, I seem to hear patchouli, which I really love. The longevity is fine, but the sillage, of course, is a bit lacking. You want others to smell it a bit too, not just you and those you let close to you. The packaging looks like a gift, but not as luxurious as with Middle Eastern brands like Arabesque or Sterling Flavia Dominant Collection. Nevertheless, it's quite suitable as a gift for a man. The bottle, if the advertising is to be believed, is made of Venetian glass, the brand is Italian, but in our perfume shops, it seems a bit overpriced
