Much nicer than the horrible triple cologne from NZ. There’s less harshness and retro feel here, but the fragrance doesn’t last long, about an hour. It mainly smells of lemon, more like lemon dish soap or detergent. I still prefer this version, and it’s cheaper too. Excellent as an aftershave: refreshing and invigorating
the fragrance pyramid just drew me in. blackcurrant and bergamot are my favorite notes! I think the longevity will be on par with the whole collection, but true connoisseurs definitely won't be deterred
Zara's Lemon Pie started smelling kind of unnatural after six months of use. I hadn't noticed that before. The scent is sweet, lemony, and very bright. Overall, it's really a summer gourmand option. Or maybe suitable for a warm spring )
Fruits soaked in sweet syrup, and rose petals sprinkled with sugar, create a pleasant impression. The scent is light and airy, the sweetness not too intrusive. It feels like the smell of whipped cream, enveloping you and giving a sense of comfort
This fragrance is really bright and rich. At first, I hesitated between it and its daytime version, but that one seemed too light and unexpressive. At that moment, I wanted something more memorable, and I chose the "night kitty" The bottle, of course, looks a bit elaborate, but that doesn't matter when inside there's such an explosion of berries and peonies. In spring, it suited me perfectly. I used the first bottle with great pleasure. As soon as it ran out, I immediately ran for a second one. But with the second one, there wasn't such delight, I wore it without much desire. For some reason, it stopped bringing joy, and when it finished, I decided not to repeat the purchase
The ylang-ylang here looks quite appealing, its freshness is noticeable, but the berry notes seem too tart. The sweetness is moderate, but the white floral accents don't evoke delight; rather, they create a sense of something unattainable. The ylang-ylang doesn't have a retro nuance, but there's nothing special about that 😔
The scent, in my opinion, is more suitable for everyone. Vetiver and cedar simply dominate here, there's too much of them. You can feel how they weigh on the perception, creating a certain heaviness 😔
