The Auguste Trading House, which produces luxury perfumery, was established relatively recently, in 1994. Its founders believe that the main task of the brand is to create fragrances for true connoisseurs and experienced aesthetes. Auguste fragrances are not intended for mass trade, because each of them is unique and original; only true gourmets can appreciate their charm.

The selective fragrances of Auguste France are enclosed in bottles made of genuine, luxurious porcelain, hand-painted by the best master artists. The brand's new creations were inspired by manuscripts dating back to the early 20th century, found in Grasse—the French province rightfully considered the cradle of canonical, traditional French perfumery. Using ancient, secret formulas tested by time, the perfumers of Auguste have released noble fragrances in the "retro" style.
