Bloom Koselig is a young niche perfume house from China that has already won the hearts of lovers of minimalist and deep fragrances. The brand name is an amazing synthesis of cultures: the English "Bloom" symbolizes natural freshness, and the Scandinavian "Koselig" (cozy, warmth) adds a note of intimate comfort. This philosophy is reflected in every fragrance: the brand creates perfumery that sounds like a poem about quiet happiness.
The founders of the house were inspired by classical Chinese poetry and painting, striving to convey states of peace, contemplation, and inner harmony through scents. That is why the collections have telling names — Poetry and Flower. In these lines, there are no loud chords — only pure, carefully balanced notes selected with pharmaceutical precision.
The brand's top bestsellers are four compositions, each revealing a facet of the Bloom Koselig philosophy. Vanhua is a delicate iris fresco with hints of rice and tea, like morning mist over rice fields. Bamboo is a green, rainy watercolor landscape where the crystalline green of bamboo intertwines with damp earth. Cedarwood is warm woody minimalism with dry cedar shavings and frankincense, ideal for evening meditations. And Meditation is the most contemplative: sandalwood, white musk, and transparent oolong tea, like a frozen moment of silence.
Each fragrance exists in a single concentration — Eau de Parfum, which guarantees longevity and richness without aggressiveness. The house's perfumers (their names are kept secret, but rumors say that graduates of the Givaudan perfume school worked on the lines) deliberately avoid loud synthetic enhancers. Priority is given to natural essential oils and absolutes obtained using traditional Chinese techniques.
Bloom Koselig is not about fashion or big names. It's about the aesthetics of everyday life and conscious consumption. The brand's fragrances are ideal for morning rituals, yoga practice, reading books, or simply moments when you want to exhale and be alone with yourself. Many fans note that the bottles (matte glass with minimalist wooden caps) are works of art in themselves, worthy of being displayed on a shelf.
Unlike many European niche brands, Bloom Koselig maintains an affordable price. At the same time, the quality is in no way inferior to renowned luxury lines: longevity of 6–8 hours on the skin, a soft trail that doesn't choke those around you but leaves a pleasant aftertaste. The Chinese perfume school is currently experiencing a renaissance, and Bloom Koselig is one of its brightest representatives, proving that elegance does not have to be expensive.
Currently, the range includes two main collections. The Flower line is dedicated to a single floral chord in each composition — peony, iris, magnolia. And the Poetry series consists of narrative scent-associations inspired by the stanzas of ancient Chinese poets Li Bai and Du Fu. It is rumored that a third collection dedicated to the tea ceremony is in development, but there is no official announcement yet.
If you are looking not just for perfume but for a mood — take a closer look at Bloom Koselig. Start with Meditation if you want tranquility, or Cedarwood for warm coziness. Or perhaps the transparent Bamboo or the slightly sweet Vanhua will inspire you — everyone will find their note of silence.
