Brand «Bruce Darnell»

Bruce Darnell was born on July 19, 1957, and is an American model and choreographer in Germany. Darnell was born in New York City and grew up in Colorado. After studying sociology, he joined the U.S. Army and served six years as a paratrooper. In 1983, he began his career as a model in Germany. In the following years, he worked as a model for Kenzo, Hermès, Issey Miyake, and Calvin Klein in Milan, Paris, Tokyo, and New York.

Darnell has also worked since 1990 as a choreographer and runway coach for models. He gained fame among the German public when he participated in the 2006 Topmodel ProSieben show in Germany as a judge. Due to the advertising for this show, he became famous for his typically American accent and refined manners.

Since 2011, he has been a judge on Deutschland sucht den Superstar alongside singer Natalie Horler and Dieter Bohlen. In 2009, a pair of fragrances, Bruce pour Homme and Darnell pour Femme, was released.
