Lithuanian designer Juozas Statkevicius is a true guru of high fashion, author of haute couture and prêt-à-porter collections, as well as costumes for theatrical performances. Juozas Statkevicius was born in 1968. He graduated from the Kaunas School of Applied Arts and the Vilnius Academy of Arts. In 1990, his first collection was shown at Fashion Days in Vilnius. The designer has won many competitions and has numerous prizes and awards.
Juozas Statkevicius has 50 collections of clothing and costumes created for 46 performances staged in theaters in Kaunas, Vilnius, Riga, Moscow, Tallinn, Paris, and Tel Aviv. He has written two books: "A Strike with Beauty" and "I Know What You Need." Under the name Juozas Statkevicius, a fragrance of the same name was also released, with an unusual spirit of theatrical dressing rooms and antique salons, impossible to confuse with anything else. The fragrance was created by the founder of the French perfume house Le Labo, the famous "nose" Fabrice Pellegrin. The black graphic bottle has a silver cap and shining letters, and is the keeper of a bold and soft, sweet and tart, strong and at the same time barely perceptible scent of Juozas Statkevicius.
