Katrina Laverne Taylor, better known as Trina, was born in Miami, Florida, on December 3, 1978. In 1998, Trina debuted with the song "Nann Nigga" on the "Slip-N-Slide" label with the help of Trick Daddy. She has two gold-selling albums: "Da Baddest Bitch", released in 2000, and the follow-up with similar status, "Diamond Princess", released in 2002.

These albums made the singer famous. The album later spawned three full singles, including the song "No Panties", which was first released outside the United States, as well as the hit "B R Right". In 2005, Trina released her own fragrance, Diamond Princess, named after her second gold album.
